REQUEST A STARTING POINT CONVERSATION↗

How does working together begin?

Feel free to email me at mailto:info@zukunftsmoment.de. I’ll send you the registration form for a Starting Point Conversation, and we’ll arrange a time.

The Starting Point Conversation is our first session together. We get to know each other, begin to make sense of what brings you here, and explore what might be helpful going forward. With couples and families, everyone involved has space to share their own perspective.

The Starting Point Conversation is 45min for individuals (€115), 60 min for two people (€155), and 75 min for families of 3–5 people (€185).

At the end of the conversation, I’ll suggest a possible way forward. Afterwards, you can take your time to decide whether and how you’d like to continue working together.

We can work together in my space in Stade or online via Zoom.

Note: The systemic, trauma informed counseling and therapy offered at ZUKUNFTSMOMENT is not medical psychotherapy as defined by the German Psychotherapists Act. It supports personal clarity, relationship development, and orientation in complex life situations outside the scope of medical diagnosis and treatment.

How long does systemic couples or family therapy with me take?

There’s no way to reliably predict in advance how many sessions will be helpful. Sometimes, three sessions are enough to find clarity around a specific question. Other concerns need space to be explored over a longer period of time.

For regular sessions, an interval of about three weeks often works well. At ZUKUNFTSMOMENT, there is no set number of sessions and no predetermined process.

You can have several sessions over a period of time, take a longer break, and return at a later point. Who takes part can also change along the way. For example, our work might begin with one person, with other family members or their partner joining later.

You don’t need to commit to a longer process from the outset. We shape the process together, and as we go along, you decide what you need at each stage and how long you’d like to continue working with me.

How long will it take to get an appointment?

Usually, an appointment is available within about two weeks. Sometimes sooner, sometimes it may take a little longer.

For intensive formats, more advance notice may be needed.

Can I cancel my appointment free of charge?

Yes. Starting Point Conversations and regular individual, couple, and family sessions can be canceled free of charge by email up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or in the event of a no-show, the full agreed fee will be charged.

Separate cancellation terms apply to intensive formats.

Can I come on my own if the others aren’t ready (yet)?

Yes. You can come on your own if your partner or other family members don’t want to take part.

In individual sessions, we can also explore relationship situations and recurring dynamics and look at the possibilities you have within them.

We can decide together along the way whether and when to involve other people.

How can I work with ZUKUNFTSMOMENT?

We can work together through regular sessions or intensive formats.

Regular sessions usually take place about three weeks apart and allow us to work with what brings you here over a longer period of time.

Intensive formats offer several consecutive hours, a full day, or a weekend. They can be a good fit if you want to intentionally set aside focused time for a particular concern, or if regular sessions are difficult for you to arrange.

We’ll discuss which format might be right for you and what brings you here during the Starting Point Conversation. The formats can also be combined if needed.

Is online just as good as in person?

I work online via Zoom, and it works just as well as meeting in person. I’ve been working with people from different parts of the world for many years. What matters is a stable internet connection and a good camera so we can see each other clearly.
Many people experience online sessions as just as connected, effective, and present as meeting in person.

BEGINNING

Your first step:
Let’s create a
sense of direction together.

“Pausing in the Fog”: In the Starting Point Conversation, we take time to look more closely at what brings you here, sort through the most important questions, and begin to map out what matters to you. This can help create a clearer sense of which next steps might make sense for you. At the same time, we get to know each other and develop a sense of whether we can imagine continuing to work together.

I work bilingually in German and English, online and in my space in Stade. Weekends, too.

ZUKUNFTSMOMENT is less than an hour’s drive from Hamburg’s Elbe suburbs (Blankenese, Othmarschen, Nienstedten, Rissen) and western Hamburg (Altona, Bahrenfeld, Eidelstedt).

From southern Hamburg, the Harburg district, Lüneburg, and Bremen, the drive takes about 75 to 90 minutes.
