SYSTEMIC COUPLES AND FAMILIY THERAPIE

03 · FAMILY BUSINESS

When the business shapes the family
and reaches far beyond questions of business.

With more than 16 years in management consulting, I know family businesses through change processes, leadership challenges, and conflict resolution.
Today, I bring this experience into my work with business owning couples and families.

Loyalty.

Belonging.

Identity.

The same relationship can feel very different depending on the context.

You can feel close as a couple and drive each other to despair as business owners. Trust each other naturally as father and daughter, yet struggle for recognition in the business. Or experience a sense of connection precisely through working together that you don’t find in your relationship as a family.

Your experiences with each other, your longings and hurts, and your ideas about who or what you feel connected and committed to are also at the table.

And sometimes, you’re no longer responding only to what you’re talking about in that moment.

It is precisely this simultaneity that creates the particular complexity of business owning couples and families. It can make it difficult to see what is actually at play in the moment and what you are responding to in each other.

A sense of direction then means being able to distinguish again, without having to separate what belongs together.

REQUEST A STARTING POINT CONVERSATION↗

BEGINNING

Your first step:
Let’s create a
sense of direction together.

“Pausing in the Fog”: In the Starting Point Conversation, we take time to look more closely at what brings you here, sort through the most important questions, and begin to map out what matters to you. This can help create a clearer sense of which next steps might make sense for you. At the same time, we get to know each other and develop a sense of whether we can imagine continuing to work together.

I work bilingually in German and English, online and in my space in Stade. Weekends, too.

ZUKUNFTSMOMENT is less than an hour’s drive from Hamburg’s Elbe suburbs (Blankenese, Othmarschen, Nienstedten, Rissen) and western Hamburg (Altona, Bahrenfeld, Eidelstedt).

From southern Hamburg, the Harburg district, Lüneburg, and Bremen, the drive takes about 75 to 90 minutes.
